Workshop: Roger Geffen and Robin Lovelace – July 21st, 7:00-9:00pm
John Stanley Bell Lecture Theatre, Richmond Building, University of Bradford
With the recent opening of the Leeds-Bradford Cycle Superhighway, and other developments and challenges in Bradford, what does the future look like for cycling in our District and more broadly?
You are invited to attend a talk by Roger Geffen MBE (Campaigns and Policy Director, Cycling UK) and Dr Robin Lovelace (academic geographer, University of Leeds). Robin has developed a ‘Propensity to Cycle’ computer modelling tool, funded by the Department for Transport (DfT), and will be demonstrating how it works.
This talk will be of interest not just to cyclists but to transport planners, engineers and anyone with an interest in sustainability and travel.
The event is organised by The School of Media, Design and Technology (Engineering and Informatics) in conjunction with the Bradford Cycling Campaign.
